So I have my Home Depot list for the the Rooster Roost. Check in with hubs how he is on screws - to see if I need any more of those.

He’s very adamant that we not spend effort or money on a rooster that HE doesn’t want. How dare I still have him.

...and how much have we spent on that sock sucking truck? Ugh.

Well. My plan (of course) got scrapped and we’re at Home Depot now for his vision. Which of course will cost more money but not take space away from the girls so....win? I guess? Sigh. Taking $200ish job to...well. Much more.

Had a real fun time today with my friend. She is great at selling birds! Sold a lot of the birds I took along today, especially quail.
Truck is unloaded mostly, but I need to drive the feed down to Turkey Town once I get cooled off. Went to Rural King, Aldis and puppy visiting!

She hardly ever sits still.

Cant do nothing til payday. Hope he is either ok til then or even better. He did go out to potty but just sits on the couch wining at me or sleeping. I just woke up. another long nap.
I dont know what that woman did to my dog and years tell me it wont do any good to ask. She would just lie anyway but IF I EVER mention taking the dogs for groom please remind me to not go back there. I feel terrible about it.

Phew! I have been running around doing chores and unloading stuff since I got home. I dug sand down by the river for quail dust baths and gave them all some.
I was shoving feed down into one of the feeders and sliced my index finger on my right hand and it was bleeding all over the place. I was glad the hose was on and rinsed it off.
Got the veggie garden watered and the bushes in front of the barn. Plus I watered the plant on the trellis behind the mailbox and the three green arborvitae up there.

I had about 4.5 hours of sleep last night, ready for a nap but a ton of stuff to do. Still not done unloading the truck.

Maybe I spoke too soon. He is back on the couch whining and wont get down even for a hamburger. Just gave him more aspirin.

Um why are you giving aspirin?

Ouch Cap ! When you get Sunny home you will be taking breaks from the yard . Are going to house break or paper train?
