Granny's gone and done it again

Dang! How much is a new dryer?

Shalom Benny! :frow
No, not allowed to keep even wild songbirds here, although I think they are lenient during chick season. The bird rescue is full to bursting this time of year. When we went to drop the hawk off there were 3 other people dropping off baby birds. Rescue asks that you do not feed or water a bird, even if you keep it overnight. People can easily cause big problems feeding the wrong type of food to a baby. Over the years, my mom took care of several owls. They LOVE beef liver!

I was contacted by Brad from Bird Rescue, who specializes in raptors. He said the hawk was precisely 31 days old when we brought it in. Amazing they have a way to determine that. Anyway, they want to get the baby back to its parents. It cannot fly, despite all those flight feathers. They will be out looking for the nest this week while the baby heals. It needed stitches on its breast from the car accident, but otherwise is in pretty good shape. According to Brad, my son saved the bird's life. No way it would have survived overnight on the ground.
Go #2! :yesss: Little hawk in the dog kennel chalet for overnight. Rescue says it will be fine. Hope we can find the parents!

Poor Robert. :gig I hope his life is way easier then mine . So far it has been but I hear stuff come out of his mouth that scares me. Im glad no one else has heard him. That boy has such a strong umm, dont know the right word , for people doing the right thing and it has to be HIS kinda right (how he sees things) or they are worthless people that dont deserve to live.
If He met my mom's siblings cousins and their off spring he'd likely call up the Smithsonian and ask for the enola gat to be pulled out of moth balls gassed and loaded with the last bomb they didn't use and drop on the whole lot of them, very nasty people 99% of them they hate me dor 2 reasons, they hated that I was born to my mom as a result of her marriage and the fact I refuse to use her dad's name, O do not care for an unusual name the family on that side most can't spell his he flunked the 8th grade 2x and dropped out of school as a result, and he was a racist.

I ate a bowl of rice today. Picked all the chicken out. Then munched on a few chips but Janes catfish has made me hungry for some fish. I think I will try to make it for dinner tomorrow. I have some frozen tilapia .

My mom's twin sister is dirt poor but wouldn't eat tilapia because it's "foreigner's" and "N@@@@'s" food... just because it;s not cat fish or crappie it's not fit for a white person to eat. funny I never had any problem eating it, and no other white people I know....

You need a license for it iirc.
