Granny's gone and done it again

Beautiful kids, Jane

That change to the new major is rather "shocking" lol.
haha I will have to use this one on him when he gets back. Got to mess with him while I still can! :D

Question in your region of the middle east is the Biblical town of Zor still in existence? I hope you don't mind me asking I saw that you are listed there and I'd rather ask someone 1st person than wikipedia or such.
Benny visits here at granny's intermittently, so he probably won't see this unless you quote him directly or tag him. Let's see if it works. @Akrnaf2

Woke up this morning, mom had went and got a cake and a bunch of amish doughnuts. We had a doughnut and orange juice for breakfast. Cake is for tonight. Dad got me bits for my drill :yesss: View attachment 1809262 View attachment 1809263 View attachment 1809264

Save me a piece :)

finally home.
Bruce, Spain? are you dark haired and eyes ? Have you ever showed a pic.? :D
What a day. Went to versailles to pick up meds then Madison to SS office then Krogers , KFC and home. oh and foot dr. didnt have an appt. just walked in and they seen him right away. Yes its a blood blister . more padding in his shoe and asked that we spray betadine . Krogers wanted $15.00 for betadine so I bought something else. Then the bad news. Robert is bleeding internally I will have to get him in to his GI dr. I examed him and it dont seem to be from the crones but I did find a small hernia . Hope its not a blockage.
:( Oh no. And you were just saying you were bored... not always a bad thing, being bored.
Hope this is nothing serious. Poor Robert. He certainly doesn't need this. :hugs

And Bandit bit my butt when we got home today.
He WUVS you!

Wishing, I remember when your son was buying his muscle car I showed you a picture of a 69 Chevelle SS identical to one I once owned except in color. Well I happened across another like one I had except in color again. This one is a 64 Mercury Comet Caliente. Mine was blue. The bidding on this one is up to $7550.00 with 8 days left on the bidding. He just groans when he sees all the beautiful old cars that people used to own. I think he was born in the wrong decade. And since he's so young, he's coming late to the classic scene. Old cars are so popular now, he can't afford what he'd really like, which is most everything. They are asking a lot for junkers too. Plan now is to get some automotive training and do his own work.
I am partial to the looks of the 60s era cars, like that Mercury.

Oh, he joined the local Buick club.

Mazda MPV 2005

I’m making it. 60+ kids this week, lots of first timers. Two different camps running at the same time, so half the kids are 5-8yos and the others are 7-10yos.

I’m worn out trying to cook and run the place. My pet projects turned out nice. We got the army-surplus bunk beds cut in half to make neat displays in the camp store. Got all the cool merch out. Posting lots of vids on fb and the parents are eating it up. Fav comment: “yep, he’s alive.”

Bocephus had a growth spurt when I wasn’t looking and outgrew his halter. It rubbed a little bald spot on his nose, but it’s loose now.

:loveThe Brahma side of him must be showing itself. They get huge!

Here’s our cute new camp store and the bunk-bed shelves. The “pallet” shelves were plant displays at Lowe’s, and we got them free. Bunks were $75 for one set, but the guy gave me two sets because I was there and he wanted them out of the yard.

You did an amazing job on this! The camp job is great for you, combining so many things you are good at and enjoy... cooking, farming, the store... the kids, the fundraising, the inspections
Just kidding about those last things. :hugs

Today my kitchen staff were late, but so was I. We had incident with a child that led us to suspect abuse, so I spent the morning texting social workers and deciding how to proceed. The health inspector showed up just before lunch and decided to observe our meal-prep and serving procedures. We also have several tricky food allergies, so he got to see those protocols in action. No marks this year. :yesss: Went home to grab bubba's swim trunks and Josie had pooped in her kennel. Got her cleaned up and had to run to dollar general for spaghetti noodles for supper. Got back and hid in the camp store- listening to music and crafting. Put out a few more small fires. Got home right before 9, nursing a migraine, and almost settled into bed when I get a first aid call. Kid (5-6) stuck his finger in the shower drain, got stuck, got scared, and scraped a layer of skin off on the way up. Bled heavily, he was in hysterics. So I doctored him, rocked him, soothed him, and got him in bed. Then called his mom even though it was 9:30, because as a mom I’d rather decide for myself if it’s an emergency or not. In the middle of that our meds distributor called in a panic because she got mixed up and gave a kid the wrong meds. Luckily something harmless, but still a bad mistake.

So now I’m finally home, flea treated the dogs, and about to fall into bed. Cinnamon rolls in the morning, my favorite breakfast to make.
I sure hope you got a HUGE pay raise, Madame Director.

The reason for that post, Although I am 99$ sure Robert is bleeding based on the symptoms I have learned he has ate a whole HUGE box of oreos cereal this past week.
yeah, because that's so good for his diabetes.
At least you will know in a couple of days when the cereal clears his system. Hope that's all it is.

Morning all, Robert is back to "normal" today . Big sigh. I havent slept at all.
That was quick. :) Big relief

Im not sure if it was or not but he ate a ton of it. I cant even get him to check his sugar. He dont seem to care anymore.
:(

Pretty yesterday and today then rain this evening. I should be mowing.
Me too. It is supposed to cool off on Thursday. Maybe I will try it then. 101 again yesterday. You have to worry about starting a fire mowing when it's so hot. Lower 90s today, thankfully. I haven't been sleeping in this heat.
