that thing hasn't had water in it for almost 10 years. Someone lost the plug. I have been trying to get mom to plant blue creeping flocks in it.

I wish the sun would stay.

Kinda crazy things I noticed on the plane.

You get a random big promontory of where did this come from?? Google isn’t helping me find out what it is, what’s it’s called, all the how’s and whys of it....it makes me ponder!!

The light rock on top is a cap rock - harder stone. It is over sandstone and protects it but as the cap stone wears away the sandstone underneath erodes as well. If you go a bit east of that picture you can see another that is almost totally eroded.

Millenia ago the entire area would have been cap rock. You can see a lot of those in Bryce Canyon.

I have been putting baby powder on me like 3-5 xs a day and now I am leaving my mouth open so I can taste it.

Can she wiggle her nose?

These are the noisiest baby chicks ever. I might try to put them in with the Mama cochins. They just peep and peep. Maybe the heating pad isn't warm enough.

Do they come out from under the pad? If not it is too cold. Do they not go under it? If so, it is too hot. Peeping chicks are unhappy chicks. Chirping chicks are happy chicks. So are sleeping chicks.

I was up early getting rid of roosters, this afternoon I kept trying until I got a nap. Good thing because I will be up early to go to the swap in the morning.

We are having a swap tomorrow too. Its supposed to storm starting tonight and damaging winds .
Just home from Wal marts to get Robert something he can eat. Went to the barn and got some poison and dumped it under Toms bedroom window. The ants are all over the place in there. I had 3 littles in there and I looked and the white polish was dead. Or I thought it was. I went to toss it and felt a small movement but it was so far gone it didnt matter.
You know, Granny can take some stank. I normally dont even smell the coop but today it honestly smelled like death. I was about 10 ft away from it when it hit me. I just put fresh shavings down yesterday.

Took a pic of the littles in the brooder. I need to get them out in actual sunlight to tell colors. A couple look white but I know they are not.

Went to Maysville RK to get feed. Got a pic of the river as we were crossing the bridge so blurry.

Okay thank you, I’m looking into a few other pups who contacted me before, even though I know the messanger wouldn’t work, but I feel like it would be fair. I’ll let you know but I would be able to go pick up the pup around the July 15-16. Thank you!
