It's natural for them to want to be under cover. Risky for a ground bird to be out in the open. My guys are out all day long. You rarely see them though, until they come running. Eternal optimists, my mob, always hoping for a treat.

and you dont have predator attacks either. Can you imagine the $ I would save if they ate out ?

I have some poison from a couple yrs ago . your supposed to use a spreader.. I took a coffee jug and dumped that mess under Toms window outside and he has 2 bait traps on his desk. Still coated in ants.

Bait can take a few days to work. It's better than poison because it kills the colony. Most poisons, the ants find a way around it.
