Pro’s gone and done it again.

Two laced Wyandotte’s (blue laced red or red laced blue lol), one Brahma who is quite the chirper (please don’t be a roo!!) a leghorn, an australorp and two Easter eggers. (Reason for twos on the Wyandotte’s and the Easter eggers is they only had two left).

Premium for chicks I tell ya. Sigh. $7/chick.

They’re chick piling. Do have a heat lamp (not on full blast though it’s already kinda toasty in this garage) but they’re piling on the opposite end of the brooder from it.

Joanns had a sale. A 6 pack of vinyl for $12! They are $8 a roll by themselves. Well I drove a hour and they were out. So I went to dollar tree where they had egg cartons and then to Michaels. They had permanent vinyl 10 for $10. So I got 30 sheets lol with a coupon it rang up $25. I'm pretty happy with all the colors I got.

Oh yeah joanns had that bad on clearance. Had to get it.

Yeah but hatching my own flock = higher chance of roos. Hubs already hates Bucky. Also Bucky does have the breathing whistle. He’s flawed for breeding. Crap I meant to get a video of that. Maybe I’ll go down later.

I love hatchery birds because you can order pullets and let them worry about the roosters.
This guy was supposed to come buy some roosters today. Come to find out he is three hours away. Why all this, when will you be available etc. When he has no clue where I am? It is in my ad, for freak sakes!

Buffy and my more piggish maran got curious. (I shooed them out after taking this.

Still waiting on that molt for poor Buffy.

This girl I saw doing some feather eating on Buffy. But someone is also picking on her. Ughhh.
