Granny, too much aspartane can lower your platelete count.Its in diet soda. I drink diet rite sodas, they have Splenda instead, but I can find them at Walmart only.

Gaterade 0 has sucralose(splenda) in it, but Sprite 0 has aspartane. I drink gaterade 0 too.
