and go eat and then pup outside and then shower and bed. I think you’re right. That one...is already a donkey-hole. Never had a chicken try to peck me before but this one...I try to grab them to put them to bed and it does peck at me. Sigh. Hubs has expressed his NO MORE ROOSTERS and I get it. I can’t keep putting up single occupancy bachelor pads and though Bucky is a jerk to hubs, he’s my jerk. This one...Bucky was never like that to me. Ever. So...I hate to say it but the second he crows...he’s gonna have to go. Be it axe or rehome...blue laced red wyandotte though hatchery quality may be pretty enough to attract someone.Star, Looks like one of each to me.
I am so sorry, I wouldn’t tolerate that either. He would be gone.he was one of my first silkies. Hes the one I had to pick out of the egg and keep him inside by himself for several weeks due to yolk butt. He just turned 2 last month.
No it was the big mutt outside. Hes on my shit list, I want him dead. If I can find something he will be, I dont tolerate that and hes already on his 3rd strike. The cat was eating food out of her bowl when he came up and grabbed her. I was out in the yard feeding Patricia when it happened. Horrible sound. I had to run while my cousin stood there doing nothing. Shes also on my shit list. I'm no longer talking to her, and will not have anything to do with her. She acts like nothing happened. And mom acted like it was no big deal.
I know granny, I'm sorry you lost them![]()

When you think about it, dirt is just really teeny tiny rocks. That was not all that dirty, and even natural streams have some dirt.

That hot and you don't need broodies to hatch eggs. Your whole area is an incubator!Just got back from Turkey Town, they all got fresh water, and watermelon. Even the dogs are eating watermelon! There are clouds around and thunder. The temperature dropped to 103° , but I think Mother Nature is just teasing us.
Once I cool off , I will go do the barnyard birds. I saved 1/4 of the watermelon for them. I thought my blue mottled cochin was broody, but I went to check on her and she was off the nest. So I took the infertile eggs. If she starts up again I have plenty of eggs she can sit on.
I found a 10x10x6 dog kennel cheap but i can't get it with the cap on the truck. And i can't take the cap off by myself. Oh well, i have one i need to assemble as it is.
Never seen that kind of rabbit. Learn something new every day!
That is interesting. It's a rodent but it looks more like a rabbit. South America ha some BIG rodents... like capybara.
So sorry, Alley.Sorry I've not really been chatty. It's been a bad weekend here. I'm a hot mess. My moms dog attacked the momma cat and broke her leg, my frazzle chick got scalped yesterday, and my silkie roo Crunchy I found him dead under a pile of broodies this morning. I have been bawling almost nonstop for 3 days. There are so many other things going on and I just cant get a handle on it all.
I remember when you hatched Crunchy.
Why are they selling sick fish?I have been doing a ton of reading on tanks and getting them cycled. There is a fast way to do it and I have done that. It takes having an old tank which I could provide.
This evening I added the 5 white cloud minnows which are the hardiest of all and extremely tiny and added them to the new tank. We shall see.
On a different note I have lost the snail and an angel and one more sick. The snail was dead before it hit bottom and I honestly thought I had threw the angel away but finally found it trapped under a decoration. The sick one either has ich or cotton and I have treated for ich.![]()
Oh my goodness, how adorable. She looks a little scared, like she's worried she's being served up for din-din.
