That's what I read at first now I'm seeing places saying 18 dead. Too early to say for sure.

Insanity. What goes through their minds, where have we failed as a society where this is happening so often???

Well. No new truck. They offered us $2k trade in on the truck, which we noped pretty good (they came back with 5k at least), and offered us about $1500 less than we owe on the flex. Also nope. So we’re going to do a private sale on the flex, sell some other things, and go from there. I find it crazy how short the test drives are for new vehicles. At least this one the fuel light came on but it was the first warning (50 to empty)

Kinda choked at the sales rep. First brings us out figures with an interest rate of 8.9% financing, expected 1100/month payments. I said cmon isn’t ford offering a 0% on the f150s right now? Well yeah but then you’re not getting this $3k rebate. I look at him and say come on. With those interest rates, I could buy a fully loaded fiesta with what i’d pay over the lifetime of the loan.

Not impressed.

Yeah. It needs some love and hubs ran it too hard - it can’t really be trusted anymore.

That and it’d be good to downsize the fleet a bit. The truck just sits unless we need to do a Home Depot run or tow something. (8mpg is a factor in that)

New truck would get the same mileage as the flex, and still be truck-y so.
