Well. We may have found our unicorn. Except it’s got the fancier more expensive “technology package” on it - but hubs is down to travel to Orange County to look at it so...sigh. The quest continues. I’m ready for it to be over already. But. It’s got the engine we want, bed we want, tow package we want, m 4x4 and tow mirrors (the tow mirrors are the real unicorn) so. Whee.

Facebook reminded me of this 8 year old picture.

Context: driving back home on an epic road trip (Calgary to Ottawa), I had Peach in the backseat, and put the passenger seat as far up as it could go to give her more room back there. While driving through northern Ontario she decided nope. Backseat wasn’t for her so up to the front she clamored, squeezed herself through the tiny gap between seat and dash and peeked out at me quite pleased with herself. I ended pulling off when it was safe to do so and pushed the seat back a bit so she could lay down a bit more comfortably in there but this crazy dog...

Other gem memory of the road trip: tanking up (I think this was north bay or Sudbury or somewhere) and she kept climbing up into the drivers seat footwell. (Some reason if I left the car that’s where she ended up). So here I am tanking up - had another guy tanking up near me laughing at these shenanigans - so go over to drivers side, let her out, walk her back around...she did it a few more times before I was done lol

Ugh. Up too early on a Saturday. Time to shower and take care of chickens. Here’s hoping the truck makes it....
