I have been waiting for what seems like forever for my guppy to give birth. I have her in the box. I picked up another female couple weeks ago that looked a little bit pregnant. LOL So as I waiting on the huge belly the new one is in the back of the tank having babies. Only me ? I have the shiners in the pond and the tank ready . I put the stocking over the filter and it was a good fit. Unfortunately nothing large is going to pass thru. Thats what I wanted right ? But, what about the poop and extra food when I over feed? Am I overthinking this ? Since the new one is done I am going to put just fat belly in the other tank til she has hers then move her back out.

I think you’ll be fine with the stocking until the babies are big enough to be safe. If your water gets dirty, it’s just another problem to solve!
