Do you have your deck on a sloop? Im wondering because they are thick boards the wter takes even longer to dry or run off causing it to rot faster ? Those re supposed to last like 20 yrs.

Picked up my lumber today and Lena is "on my list" it was bad enough when my ins binder paper blew off the desk and she shredded it. BUT after I when thru the security hut at Menard's and finished loading my lumber get back in the truck and was searching high and low for the papers "they" need to see. Finally look in the back and there is nothing but paper confetti and spit balls wads of paper Stopped at the special order pickup showed them the hand full of pieces THANKFULLY they managed to get some number they needed and re=printed the lumber order. After I got thru the security check I stopped in the front courtesy counter and got them to reprint my receipt. Then stopped as the ins agent and got a copy of ins binder.

The "itchy teeth" have continued most of the day with her hauling in sticks/weeds/leaves and bits of the old rotten deck into the house and shredding them both up front and behind where ever I am SO I can NOT see her doing this.

easier and faster for me to use a cordless drill and just screw them in. Only 3 1/2 inch screws with the star design so the bits bit/hold better.
