I seen a thing if you put a cigarette butt between the 2 pieces of wood then the glue it will hold better. I thought I would try it and when I touched them they came apart. Umm, eureka moment. Since they didnt glue to each other I was able to wiggle each piece in. Now because they have set out they want to float again so I have them in there loosly weighted down and will finish the job after they become water logged. I wont be able to glue the plants on but its better then nothing.
Bruce, I clean the tank w/ a hose that cleans the gravel , the other things in there come out for cleaning. I wipe the sides down w/a paper towel. Not perfect but good enough to suit me.
