Mother used to get mad at me and exclaim " your as stubborn as a mule" MY reply was
"and who do you think I got that from" would usually shut her right up or cause her to laugh.

and better then being "sick and tired" , I got smacked for that once. Mother said "I"M sick" and I finished with "and tired" it just sort of popped out and there was NO retrieving that comment.
