I didnt freeze the chili. Still sitting on the stove. What a waste.

There is something about not cooking beans with onions... makes them tough. You have to add the onion after the beans are soft.

Does your water actually taste bad? Maybe a Britta filter or something would help. There are also Crystal lite sugar free powdered mixes you can add in to make it taste better.

Water sucks and I seen all them rocks aka kidney tones . Robert drinks bottled . Tom drinks filtered, I get it from the tap.

No, we did pretty good. Easier when you have time to prepare AND have a sister with an extra fridge in the garage that was mostly empty. We moved our stuff over to her place before the outage started. Our fridge didn't get above 40 degrees either. I put several frozen gallon water bottles in and it kept quite cool.

I am genetically incapable of making snap decisions. The 3 times in my life I did, regret followed. I'm not looking for more trouble right now, so no more animals. I am enjoying having extra time to spend with Scooter. He went out to the ocean with us today. Lovely day there and we had a nice time. He's such a good dog... or maybe it's the meds...
