Wishing, what did you do today ? I superglued my finger together. 3 of them on one hand toothpicks on the other. !

I didn't do very much, but seemed like I was busy all day... I read about your art project. Can you use some silicone to do your gluing?

I am really enjoying TRYing to aquascape these tanks despite all the mishaps. Wish I could take some lessons somewhere. They have all the plants though to make their tanks beautiful. Im working w/ land moss and algae. LOL

yes I can but its hard to hold it together and wait a couple days. The glue is instant.

Theres a trick to the super glue and its the white cotton in a cig. filter. It has some sort of chemical reaction to the glue and you can see it actually smoke . Dont ask me why I touched that today to see if it was hot. It is. Bonds even underwater but you have to be fast or it dries before you can get it where its going.

And it's safe for the fish? I thought those cig filters were carcinogenic... not actually cotton...

yes, supposed to be. You know, they use new ones. I used an old one. Its such a tiny bit. And the glue probably eats it away but all the great scapers use them.

I seen a tank today didnt say what size it was . Looked to be 30 and it had every thing including heater for $15.00. The heater I need for this one is $25.00

sounds like a fun project. you should keep trying. Can't expect perfection the first time.
