Granny's gone and done it again

I like the hang on the back filters. Its just easy. You can stick plants in it too and helps get rid of the nitrates. You can put a sponge over the intake if you have babies. If your doing shrimp the air/sponge is supposed to be the best one to use because they feed off of them. The newer HOTB filters hang inside are black and disappear w/ the black background and work well. They use a pond pump so easy start. I dont like undergravel filters at all.

Tonight I went to close up the giant cochins, and there, in their coop , was the young bantam cochin I have been missing for a day and a half! :wee:ya:woot

Tonight I started working on the area under the workbench , where there is no shelf. Most of the area has a shelf, except the last three feet or so. I need more space to keep tools, so this will help. I put insulation up in the back wall, then closed it in with plywood. Next I need to put insulation in the side wall, then close in that with plywood, then I will be ready to put that shelf up. Kind of painting as I go along. I would love to get the whole building finished, with the insulation, and paneling.
