Is he going to work and go to school or does mommy pay ? You know Im asking because I dont think I even knew anyone that went to collage and how its supposed to work. Is it free on campus ?

Nothing is free. You pay for every class you take, so many $$ per unit, which is like the hours for the class. Out of state students (like #2) have to pay more for the units. Then you have to buy books and supplies and pay lab fees. Books can be ridiculous. $150 for some. Parking permits if you have a car, food, laundry. The rest is living expenses. All first year students have to live on campus in the dorms. He is sharing a room. It's not cheap, but this college tries their best to keep things reasonable. Most of the on campus jobs are for students from low income families. We don't qualify for "need based" help because we live here where incomes are higher, even though higher living expenses eat most of that. His major is pretty tough, and he did get a significant academic scholarship (he had high test scores) but he has to keep a B average to keep the scholarship. If he dips below that B average, the $$ goes bye-bye, even if he gets straight A's the next semester. So his "job" is to keep up his grades. It's worth more than he would make working part time, and with 5 classes and 2 labs, he spends a lot of time studying. We are not letting him take out loans. We've been saving for this since before he was born!

Not too bad. I sure don't get much done. Feel like I'm spinning my wheels most of the time. would be good to cross more off my TO DO list. It's getting longer and longer.
You seem to get a lot done! I need lessons!

I still have a tree and a bunch of plants to put in the ground. Maybe I can do some of it tomorrow.
Can you even believe I have 4 empty quail cages and 3 empty bunny cages?
