Yes, I have a Java sword and like 4 other bunches of plants in there. It has an undergravel filter I need to hook up too.

not sure. He dont eat w/ his front teeth. It shattered in 3 pieces He was eating some candy

Idk if you would have the patience to wait for the tank to cycle. Usually at least a month. Shrimp are fairly sensitive.
They like cholla wood, I might get some.

I would take a water sample to be tested for ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites before I spent the money on them.
