I watched a silent film from 1929 called The Good Girl, about a young woman who worked in a department store and loved to go out dancing and partying. She met a wealthy young man and they instantly liked each other. There was some smooching, but she was a good girl still living with her parents.
The young man's father, who was the owner of the department store, found out about the budding relationship and he questioned the girl's respectability. You know, she's a working girl after all. He said "If she can fall for you, she can fall for anyone."
That got me thinking about the sayings "fallen woman" and "fall in love." If a young woman "falls from grace" you know she is no longer inexperienced (if ya know what I mean). So when the father said "fall for you" was he saying she was sleeping around? It just made me think.

Well, I will do the same thing I always do because I will still have internet and power. I can always call you on the phone to chat and catch up, so no skin off my nose!
@Granny Hatchet, are you anywhere near a medical/dental university or research center? I know here, at OHSU, you can get discounted dental work from advanced students. I haven't done it myself, but I went there to talk to one of the professors for some complicated dental work I needed done. It's a great resource if you need it! The professor said it's no different than any other dental work, because it is monitored by a dentist.
OHSU is a tremendous resource for us. DH is on heart transplant watch there. He is doing well, btw. No immediate need.
