Camping, you know what you need ? A new name. It will be weird to get used to though. Has camp found a new director yet ? Kinda surprised their not moving someone in on you.

It’s not a great time of year to hire a camp director, but I still check the email and I’ve seen a few interviews scheduled. Most camps would hire in the fall so the director has time to adjust to the place.

I don’t want a new name. My Instagram name is “summercampmommy” and it will be that forever.

oh and we actually have a dog for the mayor in one of these little towns. Guess no one else wanted the job.

I’ve only tried camping once with the kids. Bubba was about 3-4 I guess. We broke camp at 9pm and drove home because it was that or I was walking into the woods and never coming back.

DH and I camped a lot when we were younger. He still goes backpacking 3-5 times a year, when he can. He’s a big guy, so that surprises everyone.
