Im sorry to hear that but I wont either. Not if I can help it. I know how she feels. The tired is just draining. Tom is not demanding too bad. Yet...My MIL is having a hard time with FIL. He can't walk as his foot is messed up. He has dementia. He wants her to sleep in the living room because he is lonely. The bedroom is downstairs. He is driving her nuts but she won't put him in assisted living.
Was it a new dr today? Do you have a chance to talk to them about the best way to approach Robert? Maybe a note in his chart. I know my #1 would get super anxious, even at a basic check up. The dr.s would just start doing giving orders and doing things, not even really looking at him. He didn't respond well and they would give me one of those sideways looks. I told them the situation would be much better if they explained what they were going to do first before laying hands one someone who may not want them to. We finally found a great woman dr who understood and things got better. He is shutting back down again with these drs. Refused to speak to him. Its not stubborn, its autism .
She can't lift him and he keeps falling on the floor. He wears diapers. She can barely get around herself as she has a bad hip and back. And her hands don't work right.Im sorry to hear that but I wont either. Not if I can help it. I know how she feels. The tired is just draining. Tom is not demanding too bad. Yet...
