Wow, we sure have some doozies running for sheriff in our county. It hit the news this week that both of the candidates are guilty of stolen valor. One claims to have received the silver star and the purple heart and had been in the airborne rangers for 11 years. The truth came out that none of that was true so now he has withdrawn from the race. The other candidate claimed to have been in the airborne rangers but later said he only said it to poke fun at the other guy. Well then his military record came out and it turns out he deserted and was dishonorably discharged. So now the sheriff we've had decided to run as a write in and he's in his 80's.

Yeah they are the guys that needed the sign, at least the UPS guys put stuff on the porch but neither makes any effort to let us know the were here even when there are cars parked out front. Actually I'm here most of the time other than the one day I have to go 25 miles south for shopping at the health food store. Then there are the little "one or two hours" local ventures.
