Sure you can, get a bunch of lead weights, melt them down and make little bendable strips. IIRC they were about 1.5" x .25" and probably only 1/16" thick.

Just filled the suet feeder

I put some suet in the feeder 3 weeks ago, first time in a few years. Not one bird has touched it!

Memory lane. I remember taping 5 quarters together and mailing in for these. I won the 7th? grade science fair with them and got a little pin that said 2nd place. LOL Now they are in my freezer waiting to be consumed by my fish.
