I like them to have a LOT of time to give me calves. So YES !! I guess I do prefer them young BUT FERTILE is more important.

So I currently have 9 cows/heifers all related to each other, with 3 sets of full sisters. Trying to decide which of the sisters to keep and which to "try" and sell on or with that Golden Bull calf I kept as a "starter herd"


Granola/ Lizzie B ---if I keep Hailey then I feel I should keep her bestest buddy Granola, Also going for Granola is her "bunged up horn" makes her easy to identify when their out in the big pasture.
