Here they are hanging from above the inset. I just tacked them up, didn’t want to make big holes if I didn’t like it. They would hang higher.

My sister had that window and did like you are doing. and put plants and the cat enjoyed the window But the reason she did was $ a special rod was too much She ended up w/ those round curtain rods and putting one at each bend or window pane.

Morning. DH is griping that Josie brought home fleas. So I’ve bathed both dogs and am having a cup of coffee, then I’ll bathe the cats. I need to go to Lowe’s today to see if I can figure out how to hang the curtains in the bay window. I’m tempted to hang them from the wall above the inset, then leaving the window area for the cats and some house plants.

If that wall is facing west it'll get pretty hot in the summer for plants if left enclosed.

It’s western facing but only gets midday sun because of the trees in the neighborhood.
