No still getting broken sleep. Dogs going insane. Get up put enough on to not get an incident exposure charge. Grab shotgun. Tell 13 yr old who had decided to sleep in the living room and is awake because of the dogs. Check the pens. Walk perimeter. Go back inside. Tell 13 yr old to go back to sleep. Rinse and Repeat at least 6 more times. 13 yr old and I are living on coffee and sugar at this point.
I am grumpy enough the other kids had coffee waiting for me when we got done critters this morning.

Surprise bunnies today. 3 solid and 1 broken. Blue or black. First time mom so hopefully she takes care of them. I've been trying for almost 6 months to breed her.

I was outside working on getting a cover over the run. I did get most of the cross pieces painted and screwed on. Hubby mentioned all the stuff I need to do outside. Yeah, I know I need to unload the truck for tomorrow and drag the cages back to the storage area. Jeez. I am taking my bantams to Lynchburg tomorrow, a lady is going to meet me. Then the next day I am meeting the guy who'd buying my quail in Danville.

Hotter than blazes out there. 83° in early March is too durned hot but I guess I shouldn't be surprised being it's Texas. Just hopped off the mower. Got the front and back mowed before I decided I'd had enough for today. Maybe it won't rain tonight and I can do more tomorrow. Only a 10% chance of rain so I'm depending on the odds.
