Now it's raining.
My friend lost her debit card today, but we were able to backtrack and find it.

It poured here today ! We looked like drowned rats. We went to frishes and they have the salad bar closed down and all the condiments gone from the tables. I asked for salt and they brought out salt packets.

In-laws are visiting. I took them to Natchitoches— oldest European settlement in the Louisiana purchase, home of Steel Magnolias, and birthplace of campingshaws. We visited the fort that I toured on field trips 25 years ago.


Then I bought this fantastic corn pitcher.

I think I got about 6 hours sleep last night. It was glorious !!!!!!!!!!!! Lena has been very clingy/needy/apologetic since the other night. Hopefully she has learned.

good other then turning an egg customer away, I told him I should have eggs by Sat at noon. Then about 1/2 after he left Rod showed up with eggs.

I need to walk up to the barn and catch that loose quail. Tomorrow I need to put them in boxes and drive them to Danville.

Made squash soup. NOT to bad from the "tasting" I had. I need to pick up some cream or sour cream to add just before eating.
