peach has been missed at the office today! I left her at home as she had her last dose of amoxicillin this morning, so won’t need three times a day drugs...I was all packed up and said come on peach, time to go to work!

she legit gave me a Look, went to the bedroom and just flopped on her bed, continuing the “heck no mommy” look. So I say “okay, you want to stay at home? Want to go outside?” Zoom. Right to the back door, head outside and flop on the grass. Ok. She’s not been fussing with her sutures so I’ll leave her be today.
But yeah. She exceeded my coworkers expectations and is welcome back at the office anytime.
I guess everyone got ruined by another admin years ago bringing in an ankle biter that pooped and peed everywhere...so having a well trained old girl who was super chill and content to just hang out on her bed all day...was a nice relief.

Still haven't heard from vet on the bruce test.

I sort of found a bull and price is "reasonable" in they are in Cheyenne where nephew lives and brother sometimes. Trying to talk myself out of it as I REALLY want to know for sure that I have a heifer sired by Tibbets first.

We have been putting up bird netting, every danged thing gets caught in it! Twigs, leaves, wood, glasses, earrings, the list is endless. Very frustrating. Took at least 2 hours. And not quite done yet. But my patience is gone. Enough for one day.

I got two pieces of plywood cut and painted for the bottom of the brooder I am remodeling. I need to get some trim made and painted.

He’s better at giving gifts than I am. I’ve accepted it. But he did like the maps.

I’m very tempted to take the doors off the cabinet on the right and use them to frame the maps. I tried with one today and just really love how it looks.
