Magpie's do that with lambs. Dad always shot those buggers on sight honestly about the only "hunting rule" he didn't honor/follow. But then again he was protecting his property so maybe not.

Dang ol rain. I am making dinner in spurts. I just fried a lb of bacon. I wanted sausage gravy and biscuits but in order to make the gravy I needed some bacon grease.

Dinner is finally over. Man what a mess ! Both sides of the sink is full of dirty dishes. It going to take me a few times to get them all. It was good though.

Today I worked on enlarging a brooder so I can raise the heat lamps up.

I am making it 14" higher than it was. You can see the uprights where I will attach plywood.
