I wonder what type of care Tom will need after this. Seems like he would have to stay in bed for a few days anyway. I cant put him on a bed pan. I told the dr his pain meds werent going to help because he had been on them for a while and he said he would probably give him something stronger .

He might need physical therapy.

He said I had shingles H2o and Tom is having surgery next tuesday . they are amputating part of his foot.

Oh... is Tom okay with the surgery? So sorry that it's coming to this, but really, it's better than him losing his whole foot. The stent is worth it if he can be walking next month.

And shingles makes sense on your arm. Sis had just a little case on her forehead and it hurt like the devil. Took weeks to clear up. Wish there was more you could do for it besides waiting, but oh so glad it isn't more serious.

Can this year be over? Or can we get a redo? It has literally been one thing after the other.

I think all they can do is give steroids if it's really bad, for shingles.

No they didn't do anything for her. More serious would mean you would have to take antibiotics. I was worried about some weird bacteria from the aquarium, so shingles is painful, but won't kill ya.
