Im a little more sober now. They gave me 5mg of that in the er and told me to take the 10 when I got home. I remember trying to kick Robert in the nuts and insisting on some milk and chocolate while he was trying to force me to bed.
They did blood work and put some antibiotic directly into my IV ( no bag) then did a scan w/ contrast that showed kidney stones but still in my kidneys and calculus in my heart along w/ a few other things and sent me home w/ antibiotics and that pill.

...I’m curious why docs seem to give out anti seizure meds like candy. Peach and gabepentin, you and this benzo....I don’t get it. But I’m not a doctor.

We had yet another snake-citing day yesterday. Hens were fussing and soon a beautiful king snake showed up!

King snake slithered under a rock and hid out there for a bit.
I see you!

A minute later a much larger gopher snake came shooting out of a hole on the other side of the rock, about a foot away. It was moving way too fast to get a picture.

We have never had so many snake sightings in the yard. Hopefully they are putting a dent in the rodent population. And I am always happy to have a king snake around as they will clear out any little rattlers that might have hatched. Never have seen any here.

Much cooler weather expected this week, maybe even some rain! Reptiles are all hunkered down for the time being. Will give the hens a little break... there have been A LOT of screaming alerts lately. I keep looking up for hawks. Wrong way!

Lost my electric for a while. I went to pick my meds up and grabbed a pizza. It was good.
Benzos, same as valium. They didnt want me going out to smoke and I was nervous. Not sure why I got one "to go".

Kicked broody off the nest to do this and she was out sulking, drinking and eating and enjoying a little broody break. Hopefully she hops back on.
