Omg, it was pouring out when I went to check the animals! I am collecting GLP eggs to ship on Monday. Some days I get 5 or 6 from them. Today the only one that laid was the single Tolbunt girl in with the gold lace and her egg was muddy. I was afraid I was going to fall even with boots on.

Will flip die when its time to mate or ? I cant find him

He's right at the tip of the plastic spoon. You can see his antenna.
They are the longest lived butterflies... can go 10-11 months! I think he came out of the chrysalis in high winds and got his new wet wings all messed up. As long as he keeps eating, he'll be around for awhile. Will do a little hibernation in summer and more in winter, but not sure if being under artificial lights will mess that up. He also only has 4 legs, which I thought was another thing that got damaged, but unlike most butterflies, 4 legs are standard for them.

Morning all, I slept ok . woke up once to pee . The peeing myself is gone (for now) thank goodness. Maybe today can be a productive day.
