SO a while back Rod "decided" that he was JUST going to take care of the animals. NO other helping around the place. OK FINE be an ask but at least the animals were being cared for. So I got Mike (renter) to come out and help me a bit yesterday install the post for the "yak brush" then he pulled up some electric fence posts while I tilled the garden up. then back to quancet to change tiller for 3 point mower and I mowed as much yard as I want left for Dumb and Dumber to actually take care of and will fence off the rest with electric for the young yaks to graze. Grass was to tall for the regular mowers Robert took Arse in for his shots (3:30 apt) and Rod went/rode with. I get the mowing finished and gather eggs before heading into town. Get all the eggs cleaned, and boxed. Then went out and mowed all the blvds (about an hour) instead of the 3 hours it took the firs time. Then had to replace a screen door latch.

About 7 or so Rod calls and "INFORMS" me that he is not going to do the animals as he is taking the summer off. BUT he will do the animals this winter. BULLCHIT , I told him no thanks and he needed to be off the place ASAP and until he was, the animals were still his to take care of. He smarted off and hung up on me.

So sitting here to hear from Robert as to weither or not I need to go out and do chicken
chores. Keep in mind I have chicks coming next week.

home from drs. We get to wait 2 weeks this time before we go back. 5 freaking appts before the 10th . from 3rd to 10th.
Why am I grumpy ? Cause im tired and in pain and both of my men are children that cant go in to the drs alone.

I hear the same thing every time. its gonna heal. I guess I should ask if he meant this century.

Sooner the better! But glad the dr is optimistic about it healing.

3 of them, most the day w/ plenty of breaks. I also gave them an extra $50. to cut a tree down and haul it to the woods. Total work, about 5 hrs just guessing.

Think your FB posts about the fence guy were good. Hope it lights a fire under him to make good on his work.

5 hrs x 3 guys= 15 work hrs

$600 / 15 hrs = $40 per hour per person for labor
(I took out $150 for cost of materials)

Them's California prices!

Although if they were hand digging post holes, it probably took them more than 5 hrs. maybe

My Nancy is here and guess what? We got the gate up and working AND the veggies planted ! She did most of it. I mostly got in the way. I did plant a seed pack of cukes along the fence because I just had to use a stick to poke a hole then drop the seed. Covered it by stepping on it. Still managed to hurt myself.
I have tomatoes. 12 ,, cukes from seeds and plants .. 4 cantaloupe plants and a z squash . All I could want except for green beans . (white half runners) I can plant those if I am to find any.
The shrimp have not been mailed . They wont give a tracking # .

just popping in for a quick catch up and an update. Funny I am getting 6 dozen eggs a day not what Rod was getting HUMMM . Also got the AC installed in that apartment and my fingers were full of that Great Stuff foam in a can. Managed to get some of it off BUt not all.

Still no new calves although Nugget got me good STUPID yaks playing dead. She was just flaked out sleeping.

We could use rain up here , IF I could order it about a 1/4 inch an night for a week or two would be great.

And you never found out why? I wonder if his arteries are blocked. Getting ready to have a stroke or mini strokes can make people act like that for no reason at all.
