Can you bake leaves fresh from a tree to make them brown and crispy like a fall leaf ?

Im a nervous wreck about these shrimp. They are really tiny ! Twist was right about the tank. I changed it a little. I dont like it. Its temp. anyway. I added java moss to all the ends of the limbs . It is for the shrimp of course. After they get some size or I see how they do w/ guppies I can remove it easy enough. I had a half grown pair in there I took out . Their "Litter mates "? are all still small.

granny the fence looks like it will do the job. Maybe the panels would not stretch/fit to cover the area needed if they used all the same corner type.
