I don't want to look, it disgusts me. Yeah , pretty bummed about the shrimp. But it could be worse, like one of my chickens or rabbits.

Yes, but still a type of mammal.
Seems like they rarely get rabies or distemper. Kind of like vultures... ugly, but do a valuable service eating lots of nasty things that we don't want hanging around.
I read they have a low body temperature which is what protects them from viruses taking hold (rabies and distemper).

They eat fish.

Is there a phone jack in the box attached to the house? The box is called a NID (Network Interface Device). Plug a phone into that. If it works the problem is between there and your wall jacks. If it doesn't it is the Phone company's problem ... for the FOURTH time in 3 years.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I watched the last guy that came. We should be able to figure it out tomorrow. We will still have to have the guy come out for an official check. Neighbor who used to work for AT&T said the long range plan is to do away with all landlines. If true, that sucks.

Well. The Easter egger and Sussex still don’t know what to do and broody’s not truly pleased. We’ll see how they do overnight.

Cute chicks, Pro! I had this problem too. Seems the hatchery chicks don't always have the instincts of chicks hatched under a broody. Maybe they haven't imprinted properly. Hopefully they will get the hang of it tonight.
