Granny's gone and done it again

I took the long strings off that stick last night. Thats how fast it grows.
I think you need to get something that will kill that stringy algae otherwise it will be the only thing you see in the tank. Doesn't matter how often you pull out as much as you can, the rest is just laughing at you.

Howdy everyone! Hope all is well.

Camping- Did you get any of that tropical storm?

Cap, sorry about Mini's eyes. Glad is can be treated. Hope she isn't a pain about getting eye drops. Scooter would be, he's such a big baby!

Pro- Sorry about the chick. Hope you can get more! How long has the Lorp been broody? Has she ever raised chicks before? Like people, not all hens are created equal. Some make crappy moms.

Bruce- We did check the phone line at the box on the house. Completely dead, as expected. The repair guy never even came to the house... fixed the problem at the junction box out at the main road. He kindly called to let me know. Just about jumped out of my skin having the phone ring after so long. Already got 2 robocall hang ups. Guess we're back in business!
She was broody for about a month. She’s done well with the two she hatched and she accepted the rock baby but didn’t accept the brown chicks. (Rock, Easter egger and Sussex were store bought and introduced Sunday - she hatched out Friday so..)

There are products out there to get algae under control. Can’t say I’ve tried them though.

Maybe some aquarium salt?

Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA) is a group of genetic diseases seen in certain breeds of dogs and, more rarely, cats. Similar to retinitis pigmentosa in humans, it is characterized by the bilateral degeneration of the retina, causing progressive vision loss culminating in blindness.

Yikes. And what breed is this?
