I’ve gotten the lamppost painted finally. I painted it the “high heat” black but it looked gray and flat, so I covered it with “oil rubbed bronze.” I repaired the hole in the globe (from the hail) with duct tape until we order a new one. I untangled all the morning glory vines from the zinnia and started them up the post, hopefully that twine is enough for them to hold. There are some bare spots but I think I’ll leave it as is for now.
