well, I had a great time today and something to look back on probably for years to come. Robert gave Tom his meds and microwaved him some food and come Monday I will be refreshed and ready to start all over again taking care of him. The surgery is supposed to be a short one . I will try my best to keep him off his foot for as long as I can. I got this.

That's great, Granny! You deserved a day off. Glad you had a good time and feel better. Hope the surgery goes well. ❤

LOL That is an odd request from a dentist. Maybe you should mention it to your dr.

Good idea, but my dr already knows I don't sleep well. He'd had me on Ambien for over 2 years until I finally refused to take it any more a couple weeks ago. Maybe 4 years, I don't know. I can feel it rotting my brain .... you're only supposed to take it for a couple of weeks.

Thanks Blue . I have lived here 13 yrs and this is the 2nd time I have been to the city. It seemed so strange to me. I didnt belong there. except for hospitals of course. Seems I have had my share of driving to those. Things seemed changed. bigger maybe,

so you just cant sleep. Your not having problems choking or bad snoring ? You know, You can wear a pulse ox to bed and it will record if you drop through the night. Easier then a sleep study and your dr should order one.

I get it! I grew up in a big city, but I never felt at home there. Dad used to haul us up to the mountains for fishing and camping every possible weekend. He loved solitude. So when I landed here with no visible neighbors, I felt right at home. Except for the ticks, this place suits me to a "T." I'll never go back. This is home now.

No, DH says it's rare for me to snore.

I have had bad reactions to those. Ummm. Either trazadone or tramadol, not sure which now.

Yes. Nightmares, I think.
