That was a ton of work. No wonder your hurting . Dont think I ever had a wool rug before. No, not painting. The side being worked on only has the stuff up high left to do... pretty hard with my back.
I watered this morning, then moved all the furniture in the family room and scrubbed the filthy floors, de-cobwebbed, de-junked and took out the nasty stinky rug (thank you Scooter!). couple years ago I bought a new throw rug, but somehow we've been putting up with this yucky one. New one has been rolled up in the junk room and I laid it out on the patio to air out. It's wool and kinda smell a little sheepy.
After getting all that done, #2 helped me shave, clip, trim Scooter. The intent was to wash him before he got on the new rug, but I was too worn out. He is mostly staying on his blanket. Good boy!
Mom and dad used to give one of the Ridgebacks a spoonful of peanut butter... usually on a night when there wasn't anything on TV. Watching the dog try to work all that pb off the roof of her mouth was good entertainment!I never would of thought a dog would love bananas the way Bandit does. The PB was just more then he could stand. LOL
