Oh that sounds yummy. DD and I stopped at Sonic after taking her cat to the vet. I had a greasy burger bc I was famished. Tomorrow I want to get the makings for those zucchini corn fritters Fort Cluck was talking about in the Covid-19 thread.

It's hard to find good workers! The guy I hired to re-do our plumbing, put in a new bathroom floor and remodel the bathroom floor was a royal pain. He kept trying to upsell me on stuff I didn't need, wouldn't take no for answer easily, and tracked dirt everywhere. He also disappeared half the day, I think he was working on another job. What took the cake was when he got huffy and said, Please remember that I am the professional! When we clashed on the work to be done. I stood up to him and said, and YOU please remember that *I* am the CUSTOMER! He didn't like me much.

Hubby made the mistake of paying the guy before checking the work. Guy has not been back since.

We had the shower removed and a tub put in but they did a crappy job.

I come from a long line of professional builders. The skyline of the city I grew up in has my dad's handprints all over it. My first XH was a master builder and my brothers, uncles and son are all builders. I know when something's done right and when it isn't. I can't find good workers around here. Everyone thinks they can do "everything." Plumbing, electrical, roofing, concrete, framing, tile, tape and texture, you name it. Well .... where I come from, people specialize. You wouldn't ask a dentist to do brain surgery. I asked around to try to find a certified electrician and got blank stares. Why did I need a certified electrician? Why didn't I do my own wiring? Anyone could do it. Sure. And I could probably take out my own appendix too, but I ain't-a-gonna do it!
