Hello everyone! Not much news here. Days are warming up and the garden is taking off. Getting lots of squash, cucumbers are coming along, and very hopeful of getting some lovely maters in a month or two.

Watched this bee cram itself deep into squash blossoms and rub its back all over the stamens.
Sooo much pollen!

It spent some time moving the pollen off its eyes and onto its legs, then dove back in for more. It could barely fly!
Talk about an overachiever!

I looked at ribeyes yesterday 2 small ones about 1/2 in was $30.00 at walmarts.

Wow, even if priced high that should be more than 2 pounds of meat.

Our neighbor have light gray brick with dark gray accents and roof, and it’s so pretty.

Theirs will get and look dirty requiring cleaning, yours is already natural dirt color. No cleaning necessary.

You can make thse shutters from pallets maybe ? I like those too

As far as I'm concerned if shutters don't at least LOOK like they would function to keep out the weather or light they look bad.

crab dip was from the deli. It wasnt bad aka spoiled it was bad as it tasted bad.
Meat was $14.00 a lb. must be made of gold .

Not enough meat on these claws to make a decent crab dip.

Speaking of which .... Two days ago I finished the squeeze container of Hershey's Special Dark syrup that was in the refrigerator. "Best by" date was 2009. The caramel sauce is much newer, "best by" 2015.

I never would of thought a dog would love bananas the way Bandit does. The PB was just more then he could stand. LOL

My step-father ate PB and banana sandwiches. His dog was more than happy to help.

Oh, I bought chicken tenders today! DD1 and her BF are coming, she said if I have frozen shrimp and chicken tenders he would mostly feed himself.

Don't get poor Cap started. The stories of work put off, never done right (if finished at all), are legend and painful.

Why did I need a certified electrician? Why didn't I do my own wiring? Anyone could do it. Sure. And I could probably take out my own appendix too, but I ain't-a-gonna do it!

I'm pretty sure that there is a bit more skill and training involved with one than the other! Running wire to outlets and switches isn't exactly "Appendix Surgery". When we did our prior house the 3 way switches took a bit if thinking and book research. The 4 way was definitely a head scratcher for a bit.

Edit. Calfire is hiring for data entry minion. Pay range varies from less than I make now to about the same. Hubs was pushing me for that. Uh. No. I think 40 hours a week of pure data entry would...ugh. Nope.

And 40 hours of data entry to probably make less money than you do now.

Only one of the 20 I planted last week (2 weeks?) have come up so far. And that is just a 1" leaf sticking up.
