I took a hike today with a friend I've known since 3rd grade. Was hot, but a lovely day. This was our view.

The old farm where I grew up is on the bottom far left. I now live far right at the base of the ridge.

Howdt all, I got to sleep finally. Now Im stiff. LOL 11 hrs I think.

Fireworks are all outlawed here, even the big shows. It's so dry and loads of tall grass. Don't need a repeat of the fires, but kind of a bummer.

Still were a lot of fireworks in my hood too. And I’m pretty sure a couple brush fires :/

mil’s critters survived the fourth alright. Bambi permitted me to put on her fly mask again...yay. But that fly spray is obviously a scary monster out to get her.

Here's a trick for ya, Spray the spray on an old rag and wipe her down with it.. Will save you time and a chance for injury. BOO!
