Granny's gone and done it again

Didnt you tell me theres no way you could eat your chickens or was that someone else ? I havent had a good chicken noodle soup in a long while. I could probably get a free roo. I also love home made bread ! expecially w/ soups and stews
I'm not qualified to process them efficiently, so I take them to a nearby Mennonite lady who charges me $2 a head to do it. But I have no problem eating them. I'd rather eat my nice healthy, happy birds than those poor abused ones at the grocery store. Too bad I can only raise half a dozen or so a year, we don't have room for more. Someday maybe. Lol, DGD said a fb friend asked her how she felt about eating one she'd raised and she answered, "yum!"

Geez, we are losing a lot of good ones. I hadn't heard and I listen to the radio a fair bit. They usually say when a big star dies.

I like your attitude :D

Yorkie? I thought there was Mini and Sunny. Where is this Yorkie?

IF that is a defining symptom of bipolar I better get to the doctor FAST!
Twinkle is my Yorkie. But after Dad died, we moved in with Mom with our three dogs. I had a pair of Yorkies and Charlie, my old Papillon. Mom fell in love with Twinkle, and carried her everywhere. Fed all the dogs people food, which I asked her not to do. Mom calls the dog Baby, which is not my thing but when we had to move Mom into the nursing home she wanted to take Twinkle. How could I refuse? It was the first dog she ever had that I know of. So Twinkle is living in Florida with my Mom, in a nursing home. Sorry, too much info.

So I have heard, but I just can't get past the taste. Sorry. We have a goater who comes to church sometimes and he graciously gave me a few quarts to make into yogurt. Didn't help, lol.
Goat milk tastes bad if you have a buck in rut around. Another reason to keep only does. I plan to rent a buck.
