I found a log in the woods yesterday and brought it home. It’s covered in ferns like the trees at camp, and Spanish moss. I know the log will have pests from being on the ground, and from the moss, but I really want to try mounting an orchid to it.

Pert, I dont know about there but when the season starts to wind down (here now) they put that stuff on sale. The other one they had was normally $1,699.00 for sale $1,000.00 It looked pretty decent.

Damn snake ate all the eggs the hens were sitting on , and killed one of my two blue mottled hens. So I guess I am going to have to cover the entire run with fine mesh to keep it out. P' sed me off.

I'm sorry to hear you lost one of yours. How do you know it was a snake?
