Got my sunburned orchid out of the pot and untangled. I clipped the worst leaf off, and trimmed a few withered roots. The mini phal is there to show the size of my other orchids. It’s in half of a plastic water bottle.

Not sure if the orchid can live on the log with the ferns. It’s an experiment.

mowed about 1 1/2 hrs. I cant do it. Hurting too bad and its hot already.

WTG Granny!! I mowed the common areas.. Raked out the chicken coop and stuck all that in the compost pile. Picked up all the limbs and branches left over from piles I made at the base of trees. And spent time with Henri.. He loves his attention. He even got his beard rubbed, though he doesn't have one, I can touch/pet him anywhere. I was all sweat and hotty so came in and had breakfast consisting of a waffle heated up on the GF grill and a sunny side up plopped on top.

BTW, I had an idea come to mind while I was out there... besides putting new hinges on the gate to the coop.. I'm going to use my 7' bird netting or deer netting on 'step down' stakes to make temporary coops so the kids can go out and do supervised free ranging.

Me too. I plan to make some broody house/ runs, just too hot out there.

Morning, Cap. I saw one yesterday. Finally got a temporary crown on a root canal I had done before the pandemic. That tooth had more decay in it because it didn't get taken care of in a timely manner. Take care of your toofers!

Yeah, I just really have a bad record with them being so hurtful.

That’s my argument, but I got roasted in an orchid group because my orchids have insect damage.
