Need to move some chickens too, but don't feel like going out.

I had an egg hatch today, a little Serama. It was upside down when I found it.

I miss those little guys. I will never forget that hen sitting on her eggs and 2 chicks w/ all the gore around her. She refused to leave her littles.

I was thinking I might give a few chicks to those Seramas to raise.

My two hens and the roo are very devoted to that chick.

they are raising the one chick, but not sitting on eggs.

They are normally good mamas but if they are protecting a chick already they might over protect and get any new ones you add.

Did you know Lindalouy ? Old member that wandered away. She had to have her dog put down and man is she taking it hard. She had her 10 yrs.

if you try just stay out there for a lil while. Its always iffy
