What is everyone doing today? It was quite hot here today. I ran around getting the medications the goats need. Then we were trying to weigh them to figure out how much medication to give them. The scale did not want to work. Little Windy is still only 9 pounds, and Misty is 20 pounds!

Well, after reading a while, I went out with afternoon snacks. And gave the three hens in with Bruiser names. Mable, Milly and Molly.. Mable has the leg band, Molly is the smallest of the 3, so it won't be hard to identify who's who.
Then took out a coffee can (the indispensable coffee can) with warm epsom salts water and gave Henri his first foot soak. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, after the second attempt he thought.. hmmm, that feels kinda good.. I patted him and told him what a good boy he was.. Got in a 10-15 minute soak after figuring out how to hold the coffee can with my legs.

Yeah I did, and gave them . Now I think Misty has bloat. She is always pushing the others out of the way to eat, since she is the biggest. Gave her bloat medication.

Actually, I had a hen in a warm epsom salts bath and she liked it so much I didn't have to hold her. She just laid there!

I didn't let him drink the water.. set the can up high so he couldn't while I caught him, then sat down with him and held the can with one hand until my hand fell off... so figured out how to hold it with my legs.

I bought a few at TSC to hold me over. I got the last bottle of multi B , ordered it and paid online last night. Tried to get some before but Southern States didn't have any.
Gotta go out and check the animals. Bbl.
