Sounds about like days I have here, or there, or when I had horses.. Nobody ever listened. What chu need are a bunch of cowboys on horses. Would make life so much easier.VERY TIRED !!! What a flipping ZOO out there today. Finally gave up and just the 3 stooges are with the Golden Bull. Had to drive twisty , maiah and a random calf into the middle tit.. Got as far as the second creek crossing (dry now) and front left tire on the tractor disappeared into a hole. FARK me running. SO I walk/herd the 3 up to the middle tit and get them in.
Erv did NOT listen and managed to get a "boost" 3 or 4 time up and out of the rodeo grounds. THANK GOD he wasn't hurt.
Rod decided to run/drive the bobcat and work the animals in boot, tee shirt and his underwear. (UFFDA)
Vickie helped (sort of) and then I had another friend/renter come out to help run gates.
Start running the yaks thru and What the HECK here's a BIG calf with no ear tag , look again and notice that she has a bangs tag in her ear, Evidently Orphan Annie decided to do a walk about and managed to join the big herd. She ran her thru and she got her IYAK ear tag installed and then put in the middle coral in the rodeo grounds as she needed to go back over to the sorority group. Then caught a small calf yep bull so blue tag for him. Then a good size heifer (Comets) who escaped the last time and she got a white ear tag. The Golden Bull got his official tag. Had to run the golden bull around a second time as he got thru the squeeze chute before I could catch his head. Between chasing the golden bull, lizzie, cassie and martinika down into the south tit and the rest out into the big pasture OF COURSE not all as a group but mixed and matched.
Than hook up the stock trailer to load Annie and move her back to where she belonged. Rod disappears and Annie shoot out that side and escapes, I finally gave up and went to the house.
Chapter 2 to follow.

Ya ought to see the way they do it in Spain... All they use is a long pole called a garrocha. They can trip up a bull/cow easily. The cattle over there are not as nice as the ones we have here.until they torked off the wrong yak and the horse got gored.
UFFDA ?
Beautiful calf.. Can't wait to see it's markings once up and about.CHAPTER 3 AND ACTUALL GOOD NEWS.
Unhooked the stock trailer and then grabbed some chains so we can pull the tractor out of the hole. ON the way down its like who/what is laying down in front of Maiah. AND this is what we found discovered.

This explains why the herd was so squirley. About 2 hours after being poured.
