Wheat , sugar, insulin resistance, smokingIt's been proven that most clogged arteries are caused by inflamation. Most of which comes from wheat products.. Cholesterol is used to maintain arterial health and brain function, yet doctors are still pushing the big pharma story that you need drugs to lower cholesterol and fat intake.
How about just getting out of my sweat pants!
Bad article then, you spurred my memory on because I remember reading that about inflammation also....which I have ample of....oh joy.
As for pack mates. Last night we had a free for all with the 5 cattle dogs. One of the males made the mistake of getting between me and his insulted brother who is all attitude on a good day. Fight ensued that we had to break up. In the middle of it. Insulted brother wound up grabbing a hold of DH's arm. Yep, not pretty. The minute DH yelled HE'S BITING ME!, the aggressor broke off and his alpha sister stepped in with Alpha brother and they beat the snot out of him. They put themselves between DH and their stupid brother. Stupid brother almost went on a one way trip to the vet but we decided that he needs his attitude adjusted a bit.
These dogs had such a sad beginning in life. To those not familiar with the story, we rescued them from an Amish puppy mill at three months of age where all they had to eat was a dead kid goat and a dead rabbit. It caused a LOT of problems with them that at 18 months of age we are still dealing with.
But we love them and won't give up on them. It is amazing how many times the brothers and sisters will step in to correct a transgressor though.
An anti inflammation diet in other words which I try, mind you I said try to observe. I do pretty well considering, actually. Don't eat a lot of processed foods, don't eat fast food. I do eat chocolate and frankly, they will pry a Hershey bar from my cold lifeless hand.
